Rude manager
- - Ordered a large pepperoni pizza online at Cullen St, Houston 77051, paying cash over the phone.
- - Dismissive service; no change for $100, so I left.
I ordered a large pepperoni pizza online on my way from work at the location on Cullen Street in Houston, Texas, in the 77051 zip code and advised that I would be paying cash over the phone. Once I entered the location, there was one customer ahead of me that was being serviced.
After completing her order, the young lady asked me for the last digit of my phone number; she needed assistance from the manager. The tall guy came over (not sure of his nationality). He asked me to confirm my name even though the name was incorrect that the location had. I replied, 'It's a large pepperoni pizza.' Then he snappily said to the cashier, 'She needs to pay.' I proceeded to pay with one of my $100 bills I had just received from my banking establishment.
The gentleman quickly and sharply said, 'I don't have change for that.' I replied calmly, 'I don't either,' and walked out. There was no effort to assist or anything. I could have utilized one of my credit cards, but I felt like it was unnecessary to accommodate since he was already dismissive for no reason. This was my first time ever at this location.
I have utilized Domino's for years and never had anything to make me feel the need to complain about the company's customer service.
I have been a Regional Director for over 30 years. I get having bad days, but just being rude for absolutely no reason, I don't understand at that leadership level.
Preferred solution: Apology

Verified Reviewer |Crew and area manager very rude very unacceptable and unprofessional behavior by area manager
- - Food arrived ice cold and greasy.
- - Remake offered; it never arrived.
- - Manager blamed bad roads and told me to pick up.
Beware of the area manager, for Tulsa, she is the most rudest and unprofessional manager I have EVER met.
Ordered food; it got to my house ice cold and very greasy. I called the store and complained.
The person in the store said they could either do a remake or give me store credit. When I told him I would take a remake, he became very hesitant. He told me it would be an hour and said that was fine. The food never came.
I called back and spoke to the area manager; she told me she sent her drivers home due to bad roads.
I made the comment that the roads weren't bad. She replied, 'Well then you come down and pick it up.' Very, very rude and unprofessional.
Preferred solution: Apology

Verified ReviewerCustomer Service
- - Poor customer service and frequent online order problems; told to call store 5171, which rarely answers, and staff can't verify or resolve issues.
Dominoes Pizza has the worst Customer service in the world! As problems with your online order occur, they continue to reply that you need to call your local Dominoes store, in my case, my local store # is 5171.
Problem is, that store never picks up calls.
Very frustrating as many problems have recently occurred; cancelled orders, regular payment option rejected. On rare occasion, when they do answer the phone, inept personnel can't verify or solve your issue.
- I like their ny style pizza
- Lack of customer service
Preferred solution: Better Service
User's recommendation: BEWARE! Your order may never be delivered.

Report bad managers. They mess the company reputation up.

- Pizza customers when dominoes messes up
Preferred solution: Full refund, Apologies and free delivery and credit for another $30.00 meal free

Verified Reviewer |I was scammed out of $28.42 by ordering a pizza over the phone on November 3rd. When I called after an hour to see when the pizza would arrive for the ELDERLY SHUT IN PERSON, that NO ORDER was found!
On November 3rd at 4:58 pm, I ordered a pizza by phone for an elderly shut-in person to be delivered. It was to be delivered within 40 minutes.
After an hour, I called to get an update and was told that no order was found! I was told to reorder the pizza, which I did, and it took an additional hour to receive. In total, 3 hours and $56 for one pizza!
I feel scammed and need to be reimbursed! No one answers the phone to verify (all calls are recorded messages).
Preferred solution: Full refund

" Regional Director for over 30 years." And here we go. Any old Keisha who think that this is back in the day when she thought that she meant anything.
Old people who talk about their customer service nonsense from forever and a day ago are typically the WORST customers and people in general. Here's the thing, this is the 21st century wherein you use your debit card to pay for things like a pizza. These places try to keep as little cash on possible for the safety of their employees.
As you can see, their employees were more valuable than you. In other words, YOU do NOT matter them and most likely anyone else.
As already commented, you needed to run that nasty, foul mouth of yours at the bank teller, ie, "Why on earth would you give me all $100 bills"? If you did not, then you are at the mercy of retailers who post (or not) signs stating so. If YOU requested all 100's then you created your own chaos.
Well take them to court and make them pay for their mistakes!!
Sigh, here we go again, another child, or childish adult, mistaking not getting their way as rude. If he did not have the change for that, how could he accommodate you?
You chose to be childish by not giving your credit card. You may be old enough to have a credit card, but you don't act that age. I hope when you were regional director, you had some immature "adult" accuse you of being rude because you told them something that they did not like. He was not being dismissive; he was just stating facts that you have to pay and that they do not have change.
Nothing rude about that. GROW UP.
Next time don't get all 100 dollar bills from your bank. No one believes for one second that a teller chose that denomination for your withdraw.
As far as leadership level? You're at Domino's.
